A collection of oral histories was assembled with the cooperation of key senior Park County residents through the auspices of The Park County Historic Preservation Advisory Committee (PCHPAC), and the Park County Local History Archives.
Two grants from the Forest Service and matching funds from PCHPAC and the Local Archives helped to cover the materials cost, the interviewers' fees and a training workshop. Kathie Moore, former PCHPAC director, coordinated the project. The interviewers were dedicated volunteers whose labor has been well appreciated.
